Russian-born Ekaterina Gerasimova achieved recently a BA (Hon) in the womenswear course of fashion design and technology at the London College of Fashion. She also completed a job placement at Alexander McQueen while working on her F/W 12 collection with eight decorative pieces. Felting, devoré,appliqué and embroidery are some of the techniques she used aiming to highlight the symbolic meaning of motifs. The images speak for themselves, a new bright fashion talent is born!
