As part of the Greek delegation at the 54 international exhibition La Biennale de Venezia 2011, the Museum of Cycladic art of Athens in collaboration with Kalfayan Galleries presents on June 7th at 20.00 the video of the art/installation of the renowned Greek artist Diohandi, entitled Beyond Reform. The video, with duration of 35 minutes, shows the whole production process, the transportation of the materials through the canals of Venice, unloading at the surroundings of the Greek pavilion, construction of the skeleton of scaffolding and iron frames, trim with wood 10m- planks, the internal architecture of the site layout, the water, the light and the special acoustic set. For the art lovers who didn't make it to see the installation in Venice last year, this video presentation will be a great chance to get to know more about this beautiful work of Diohandi that left everyone with the best impression last year.
