British Jessy Hodgson is only 19 years old. Currently studying at Central Saint Martins School of London, she recently finished a very distinct textile project entitled Snowdonia, inspired by the geographical and cultural identity of Snowdonia National Park in Wales, UK. "The textures of rock and water flowing of mountain summits in Snowdonia, a network of rolling valleys, lined with beautifully dramatic mountain ranges was a particular focal point for me in this project." says Jessy.
